Raymond Benjamin

Born April 30, 1923

Location of enlistment- Philadelphia, PA

During the time of enlistment, Raymond worked at Frankford Arsenal. It has been a small arms ammunition factory since 1816 until its closure in 1977. The factory was its busiest during WW1 and WW2, sometimes empaling up to 22,000 people.

Raymond was 16 when the war started and was 19 when he enlisted.

He never married.

Jacob and Mary Benjamin (Mary Davis is her maiden name)

Jacob worked as a chauffeur at the Taxicab Co in Philadelphia.

Mary had worked as a house keeper, but wasn't in work during the war years.
